What Pixelyecho does, in plain language
We help small businesses in Malindi and the surrounding Coast region build the digital foundations they should have had from day one.
Pixelyecho is a micro studio based on Lamu Road in Malindi, Kenya. We do three things: we build and launch websites for local businesses, we configure online appointment and booking systems, and we create coherent visual identities — logos, colour palettes, social media assets, and brand guides. Our clients are mostly small owner-operated businesses: tour operators, health clinics, salons, fresh-produce traders, guesthouses, and independent professionals. We serve businesses in Malindi town and the wider Kilifi County coast, and occasionally take on work from clients in Mombasa or Watamu when the project fits our scope. We don't do large agency work, paid media buying, or software development. If you come to us with a need that's outside what we do well, we'll tell you straight and, where we can, point you to someone who can help. That approach has kept clients coming back and referring their neighbours since our first year of operation.
How we work — and what you can realistically expect
Five years of Malindi projects have taught us exactly where we add value and where we don't.
We've completed over 60 projects since 2019, working primarily in English and Swahili, across industries that are as different as deep-sea fishing charters and dental clinics. Every project follows the same structure: a scoping conversation where we agree on deliverables and price before any work starts, a delivery phase with clear milestones, and a handover session where we make sure you can operate whatever we've built without calling us for every routine change. We work in an indigo-tech visual style — precise, structured, and uncluttered — which suits the minimalist brand voice we've developed for our own presence and which we adapt to each client's personality. Results depend on how actively clients use what we build. A website that isn't updated, a booking system no one promotes, or a brand identity applied inconsistently will underperform — and we'd be misleading you to promise otherwise. What we can guarantee is that the work we deliver is built correctly, handed over completely, and supported during the first two weeks after launch.
